RESPONSIBILITY OF SAINIK KALYAN NIDESHALAYA

  1. Advise and formulate Welfare Policy for ESM and their dependents in the State.
  2. Ensure implementation of welfare measures for ESM, Widows, and their dependents as formulated by the Centre and State Govts.
  3. Control and Coordinate the work of Zila Sainik Kalyan Karyalaya in the State and ensure their effective functioning.
  4. Liaison with Ministries, State Undertakings, and Enterprises to seek vacancies for ESMs and Widows as per reservation policy and ensure these vacancies are fully utilized.
  5. Disseminate information to the general public regarding the Armed Forces and promote interest for the same.
  6. Maintain statistics of ESMs, Widows, Disabled, and their Dependents.
  7. Seek and monitor employment opportunities for ESM and Widows in Private Sectors.
  8. Assist ESM and Widows in planning and funding of self-employment ventures.
  9. Appoint office bearers in Nideshalaya ZSKKs as and when a vacancy arises in accordance with the policy/procedure.
  10. Organize Annual State Managing Committee Meeting (Armed Forces Flag Day Fund) under the chairmanship of The Hon’ble Governor.
  11. Hold ESM Rallies and Pension Adalat to propagate various welfare measures undertaken and settle their grievances.
  12. Undertake additional welfare schemes for ESM and widows as per the requirement.
  13. Conduct Annual Inspection of ZSKKs.
  14. Conduct Zonal Meeting of Eastern Zone as nominated by KSB.
  15. Carry out duty assigned by secretary KSB
  16. Ensure timely submition of Report and Return.
